National Parent Product Award!

We were honored to win a National Parent Product Award for Feeling All the Feelings. Please read all about it on their website: https://www.nappaawards.com/product/feeling-all-the-feelings-workbook-a-kids-guide-to-exploring-emotions/.

Here are a few things some of the reviewers had to say about it:

“I like everything about this book and as always, wish I had this tool when I was young. I think it is a great tool for a child to discover feelings that they may not even know they had. The explanations are clear and the activities are amazing.”

“This workbook/journal explores many feelings such as calm, happy, confident, patient, generous, frustrated, empathetic and many more. Each section explains what the feeling is, why it is a helpful feeling and how to recognize that you are feeling it.”

“I like that there are activities to explore the feelings and what to do with those feelings. The activities are clear, thoughtful and thought provoking. Some are simple, such as a word search and some are more challenging, such as questions (in the area of disappointment, for example, it askes what did you want to happen and what happened?)”

“This is a great tool for parents and caregivers to explore social-emotional learning with kids. It will start great conversations.”

“This is an amazing book for kids and adults alike. I was initially drawn in by the illustrations and their color choices. The color palate feels perfect, like muted pastels, that do feel like they would be associated with distinct feelings. The illustrations are not too overbearing and detailed, but are simple and uncomplicated, because emotions are complicated enough.”

“The writing is wonderful as well. The author gets to the point of each emotion and breaks them down in three categories. 1. What is it? 2. Why is it helpful? 3. How do you recognize it? The emotion is then followed up on the next page with a simple exercise associated with it. The author breaks down each emotion with very kid friendly verbiage that isn’t stiff or too vague. He also talks about how you are not alone in your emotions, and helps kids validate their feelings and recognize that it’s normal to have a huge range of emotions.”

“The power of defining, understanding, and recognizing emotions is a gift. As someone who is deeply empathetic, there were things in this book that even helped me!”

“Great workbook! So cute!”

“After the initial moans and groans subsided, both boys enjoyed doing the activities associated with the feeling. My 6 year old was more into the drawing/art expression of feelings, while my 9 year old was able to verbalize and write his interpretation of feelings.”

“As a mother of 2 boys, I feel as though it is a huge responsibility to raise them with emotional literacy. This workbook is a wonderful tool to help in that goal. I would absolutely buy this and recommend it.”
